STRI Leads Dialogue on Emerging Technologies and Strategic Trade Controls

On March 14, 2019, the Strategic Trade Research Institute, in collaboration with the University of Maryland’s Center for International and Security Studies at Maryland (CISSM) and the Stimson Center, held a dialogue on the strategic trade implications of emerging technologies. The dialogue explored perspectives, analysis, and recommendations through a multi-stakeholder approach, incorporating views from government, the non-profit sector, academia, and industry. Around fifteen invited participants participated in the three-hour event that took place under Chatham House rules.
