STRI in Seoul for 2024 U.S. ROK-Supply Chain Leader's Program

STRI was thrilled to participate in the 2024 U.S. ROK-Supply Chain Leader's Program, which took place in Seoul, ROK, on 22-23 August 2024. STRI's Andrea Viski was selected to contribute to this program funded by the U.S. Embassy and supported by the Korea Security Agency of Trade and Industry (KOSTI). Participants from the U.S. had the unique opportunity to visit Korea’s leading advanced industries, including Samsung Electronics and LG Energy Solution, gaining insights into how Korea is developing and leading the future of advanced technology.

The program culminated with the US-ROK Global Supply Chain Seminar on Korea's Trade and Security Day hosted by the ROK Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy where participants engaged in meaningful discussions on value chains and supply chain alliances between our two nations. Both sides emphasized the critical importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation to ensure the resilience and sustainability of global supply chains.

The networking dinner capped off the program, fostering deeper relationships and bolstering mutual efforts to secure U.S.-Korea economic security.
